Phumlani: njengoba usushilo ukuthi inkosi yanifunela indawo lapha, mhlawumba ngaphambi kokuba siqhubele lapho bengingathanda ukwazi ukuthi wazalwa ngamiphi iminyaka uma usakhumbula.

Phumlani: awusakhumbuli? Ayikho inkinga nalapho. Engicela ukukubuza ukuthi ngesikhathi nifika lapha eNanda nafika nomndeni wonke uphelele noma…?

Irina: yebo nabasekhakomama ngoba kwakungasasele muntu lapha, isalukazi esiwugogo ozala umama silapha emathuneni akwaBhekabesatshwa. Saze saphathwa umama saze sashona khona lapha ekuPhakameni. Siya kwaZulu nje sona sesishonile.

Irina: impela impilo yethu ikhona la eNanda. wasithatheke ubaba wasibeka kwaZulu, sesaba ngabakwaZulu. Mrs Luvuno: Cha, wayelelwa leli plaza lethu ukuthi ngoba akekho umuntu ozokwenza ukuthanda kwakhe la. Umgwaqo uqanjwe ngaye la ukuthi wayelwela lona, abize imihlangano, kuhlanganiswe inkulumo, ukuthi ngesikhathi esithile kwenziwe into ethile. Waye i-breadwinner  yaleli plazi, uyayizwa leyonto.

Bernard Mbambo – Ingxoxo no Beauty Mbambo

Ingxoxo yayiphakathi ka Xolani Magwaza no Beauty Mbambo ngomhlaka  17 kuMasingana 2013.

U-Bernard Mbambo kwakungubaba womndeni ojwayelekile waseMatabetuli okungumphakathi waselokishini laseNanda. Ubaba ka Bernad wayeyisosha, wathi uma eshona (awaziwa unyaka ashona ngawo), washiyela indodana yakhe uBernard imali eyaphuma emsebenzini wakhe wobusosha.

Ngesikhathi umbuso unika uBernad imali, wayesebenza enkampanini yezolimo eyaziwa ngokuthi yi-AUCI. Wathi uma eyithola le mali wabe esecela abanye ayesebenza nabo ukuba bamubonise ukuthi angayisebenzisa kanjani le mali ngoba yayiningi kakhulu ngaleso sikhathi (akutholakali ukuthi kwakuyimalini). Abasebenzi bambuza ukuthi yiziphi izidingo zomphakathi wangakubo wabe eseziphendula ngokuthi kunenkinga enkulu yezokuthutha eNanda. I-AUCI yabe isimeluleka yaphinde yamusiza ukuthi avule inkampani yamabhasi.

U-Bernard wabona ukuthi ngeke akwazi ukuqhuba leli bhizinisi lamabhasi eyedwa, uzodinga abanye abaholi abanentshisekelo njengaye. Ngenhlanhla wayesondelene nabantu abasebenza ngokuzikhandla njengo “Double-man” Magwaza noMnumzane Mdima.  Bobathathu baqala inkampani yamabhasi okwaba ngeyokuqala ephethwe ngabantu abamnyama eNanda eyayibizwa ngokuthi “Ukuthuthuka KwamaQadi”.

Ibhasi lowomdabu waseNdiya elalilayishe abantu abamnyama laphaphalaza labulala inqwaba yabantu.  Le nhlekelele yaba yithuba kubantu abanjengo Bernard, Double-man noMdima ukuthi bakhulise inkampani yabo yamabhasi njengoba abantu abaningi babekhononda ngamabhasi amaNdiya kanye nokuthi awanandaba nokuphepha kwabagibeli. Emuva kwale ngozi amabhasi amaNdiya ayeka ukusebenza eNanda. Lokhu kwaholela ekutheni kukhule izinkampani zamabhasi eziphethwe abantu abamnyama njengoba abantu abanjengo Rogers “Bro” Ngcobo neNkosi  uGwala yaseMaphephetheni nabo bathenga awabo amabhasi. Inkampani kaRogers yayibizwa ngokuthi uMbuso wamaQadi, kanti eyeNkosi uGwala yayibizwa ngokuthi uKukhanya KwaMaphephethwa.

Ukusebenza kanzima kukaBernard Mbambo, ukwenza isiqiniseko sokuthi uyawunika umphakathi ezokuthutha kwagqugquzela abantu abamnyama ukuthi babe osomabhizinisi. U-Bernard wayengeyena nje umphathi wenkampani yamabhasi kuphela kodwa wayengumlimi. Ulwazi aluthola ngesikhathi esebenzela i-AUCI lwamusiza yena kanye nomphakathi njengoba akwazi ukuthenga ugandaganda waqala ukulima, watshala izinto ezifana nobhontshisi namadumbe ayekudayisela abantu bangakubo kanye nabantu ababedayisa  edolobheni emakethe elibizwa ngokuthi iseMatsheni. U-Bernard waphinde wafundisa abantu ukulima, wabafundisa nokuthi yiziphi izinto abangazitshala nokuthi bangazitshala nini kuyiphi inhlabathi. U-Bernard wayebuye abe umulimi njengoba wayenenqwaba yezinkomo, izimbuzi, izinkukhu kanye nezimbongolo.

U-Bernard wayengumuntu wabantu kodwa wayethula futhi enomthetho ekhaya. Wayengubaba oqotho ezinganeni zakhe. Wayewunakekela umndeni wakhe. Umngani wakhe omkhulu kwaku ngu Double-man Magwaza ayebambisene naye enkampanini yamabhasi. Bobabili babethanda ukuzingela. Babejwayele ukuyozingela eMatebetuli. Wayekukhonzile nokudlala umulabalaba. Ngezinye izikhathi uBernard wayebagibeza mahhala abantu ebhasini noma abagibeze ngesikweletu uma bengenayo imali. Uma omunye wabashayeli eshona, uBernard wayenza isiqiniseko sokuthi izingane ziyayithola imfundo. U-Bernard washona eminyakeni engamashumi amabili eyadlula, kodwa amagalelo akhe emulandweni nasekuthuthukiseni Inanda kanye namabhizinisi abamnyama ngeke kuze kulibaleke emiqondweni.
