eNanda

Inanda or eNanda (isiZulu: delightful location, also maybe, level-topped hill) is a township in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, located 30 kilometers north-west of Durban’s central business district. It is part of eThekwini, the Greater Durban Metropolitan Municipality. eNanda Township is primarily populated by Zulu-speaking Black Africans and is the birthplace of the syncretic Nazareth Baptist Church. It is also the home of John Langalibalele Dube, the first president of the African National Congress (ANC), as well as Mahatma Gandhi’s residence and base of operations.
